Terms of Use

Last updated September 25, 2026

These terms cover using this website (sacardo.com), which is run by Sacardo, a design and development studio in Reading, Pennsylvania, operated by Isaac Pichardo. By using the site you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Paid design or development work is governed by a separate written agreement signed before any project work begins. These terms don't replace it.

Using this site

This site is provided so you can learn about Sacardo's work and get in touch about a potential project. You're welcome to browse it, share links to it, and open the projects featured in the Work section. It's meant for people 18 or older, whether acting for themselves or on behalf of a business.

Acceptable use

Please use the site and its forms in good faith. Don't scrape it at scale, probe or attack it, or try to get around its security. Don't use the forms to send spam, malware, unlawful content, or anyone else's personal information without their permission. Don't pretend to be someone else. Sacardo may block access, or remove a submission, if these rules are broken.

Inquiries

Sending an inquiry starts a conversation. It doesn't create a client relationship, a contract, or any obligation for either side, and Sacardo may decline a project for any reason. Anything you send through the form or by email is not treated as confidential until a signed agreement says so, so please don't include trade secrets, passwords, government ID or payment card numbers, or health information. Any price or timeline discussed beforehand is an estimate until it's written into a signed agreement.

Concept projects and client work

Two projects in the Work section, Ember & Vine and Slow Burn, are concept projects: fictional businesses designed and built as portfolio pieces, not real companies. Their addresses, hours, menus, products, and prices are made up, and their forms and stores don't place real orders, reservations, or payments, so please don't enter real personal details there. All Massive Events is a real business whose site Sacardo built and which appears here with the owner's permission. Don't rely on any of these for real business information (hours, menus, pricing, contact details) without confirming directly with that business.

The projects are shown as examples of Sacardo's work. They aren't a promise that your project will get similar results, and Sacardo doesn't guarantee any particular outcome, such as traffic, search ranking, or sales.

Intellectual property

The design, code, and written content of this Sacardo site itself belong to Sacardo. The client projects shown in the Work section belong to their respective businesses and are featured here as portfolio examples with their permission. Names, logos, and brands of clients and other third parties belong to their owners, and Sacardo claims no rights in them. Nothing on this site grants you a license to copy, resell, or repurpose its design or code for your own site.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email design@sacardo.com with what you believe was copied, where it appears, and how to reach you, and it will be looked at promptly.

No warranties

This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Sacardo makes no guarantee that the site will be accurate, error-free, uninterrupted, or free of technical issues at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacardo isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. Sacardo's total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Some places don't allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Third-party links

Where this site links to a third-party site, such as a live client project, a social profile, or similar, that site's own terms and privacy practices apply once you're there. Sacardo doesn't control and isn't responsible for third-party sites.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. When they are, the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms. If a change is significant, a notice will appear on the site.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a problem comes up, please email design@sacardo.com first so it can be worked out in good faith. Any claim that isn't resolved that way must be brought in the state courts located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, or, if federal jurisdiction exists, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

The rest

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about your use of this site. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If Sacardo doesn't enforce a part of them, that isn't a waiver of it.
