Restaurant website design in Reading, PA

A restaurant site has a few jobs: show the menu so it reads on a phone, say when and where you are open, and make the next step obvious, whether that is reserving a table or ordering takeout. We build around the one thing a guest would remember about your place.

What a restaurant site needs to do

Many guests look you up on a phone, so the menu, hours and location have to be easy to find and easy to read there. Every page should point to the same main action so the site never argues with itself.

Our restaurant concept: Ember & Vine

Ember & Vine is a made-up wood-fired restaurant we designed to practice this exactly. It has four pages (home, menu, experiences and visit) and a takeout ordering flow with a cart that stays with you from page to page.

It is a concept, not a paying client’s restaurant, and it is labeled that way wherever it appears. On Google PageSpeed (mobile, measured September 24, 2026) it scored 100 for SEO, 100 for best practices and 95 for accessibility. Performance scored 84, held back mostly by large photos.

How a project works

  • BriefA short conversation about your business and what is not working right now. You do not need a scoped plan.
  • Design planBefore any code: a palette, a type pairing and one signature idea specific to your business.
  • BuildEvery page is checked in a real browser as it is built.
  • TestingEvery page is tested on real phones first, and on laptops and desktops too, before launch.
  • LaunchDeployed, tested again on the live address, and handed off the way you want: you run it, or we keep it current.

What it costs and who owns the site

Every project gets a fixed quote after a short brief, never an hourly clock. You pay a 50% deposit to start and the other 50% before launch. Two rounds of revisions are included, and we fix bugs for 30 days after launch at no charge. Anything extra is quoted in writing before it starts.

Your domain, hosting and accounts are in your name from day one, and the design and code are yours on final payment. We are added as users, and you can remove us in one click.
